    Exceptional Student Services

The Nogales Unified Exceptional Education Department believes that parents are important contributors and partners in the special education process. We are committed to working with you to develop plans and programs that are focused on your individual child's success.

It is important that all information and procedures are provided to you in order for you to be an active member of your child's team. Below are several links where you can find information designed to help parents learn more about the special education process and their rights and responsibilities.

We encourage you to learn as much as you can. You can always talk with your child's teacher, counselor, the school psychologist, or principal. If you need more assistance, please contact the Nogales Unified Student Services Director.
