House Bill 2439 establishes parental review for books to be approved for school libraries, requiring schools to post the list of newly purchased books on their websites for at least 60 days after approval. The bill requires schools to notify parents seven days before the public review period.
The following lists of books were a donation to Wade Carpenter Middle School. The books have not been included in the library circulation list. The list will be posted for 60 days, and parents can comment to Aissa Bonillas, Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum & Instruction, at arenteria@nusd.k12.az.us. Wade Carpenter Middle School will communicate the ability to view the list and the books via the school website and school messenger.
